I decided to study media in college because I wanted to become a photographer. But my graphic design teacher was very inspiring, and taught us how to use a mac. I had never been interested in computers before, until I started spending hours in our computer rooms at school. I did my internship at Ny Studio and they hired me when I still had six months left until graduation.
I worked at Ny for about two years, and then when I was twenty years old, I started my own agency with some friends and colleagues, and I was a partner there for about ten years. We merged with other agencies along the way, and eventually the culture of one of them took over. It didn’t really suit me anymore, and it stopped being fun, so I left for greener pastures. Parts of that agency is actually Yellon now.
I'm starting to get really decent at making cocktails. I bought a bunch of nerdy equipment, learned all the different glasses and important methods, and just went at it.
Never stop testing new things – whether it’s settings in your camera, new effects in photoshop or a new way of straining your cocktail.
