The first time I realized that there was such a thing as graphic design, was when I was working for an industrial company after graduating from college. At that time it was the first time I had ever heard of a layout program, and it hit me that someone obviously had to create the layouts in magazines and newspapers. Later, I was employed by a printing company. I learned a lot about the printing process, and got to do a little bit of designing, but lost interest in the job quite quickly. I eventually got a job at a design agency, and yada yada yada – now I’m here.

Before I started working at Ny Studio, I worked for agencies who had around five, maybe ten employees – I thought that’s how I liked it. But when I came here I quickly realized that this was so much better, and more fun. First of all, there are always people to talk to, be inspired by and discuss ideas with. Secondly, when you work for a bigger agency like this, you get a much wider range of different projects and clients, and that is fun too.

I’m a licorice geek. Me and some of my friends have a licorice club where we buy and eat licorice together. We usually try about 25 to 30 different kinds of licorice in one meeting.

Relax and have fun. Don’t take everything too seriously, be open to whatever’s to coming, and have fun with it – that’s what I try to do.
